Are you a progressive clinician interested in joining a revolutionary practice?
Dr. Burnett is the only openly-autistic psychologist in MA, and she is gearing up to expand her team!
There is a dire need for authentic, relational, conscious, and skilled clinicians who are truly neurodiversity-affirming (i.e., beyond the buzzword). Keep reading if you are an LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or psychologist (PsyD/PhD) who might be interested in joining an in-demand telehealth practice for adults that provides specialized training by a skilled supervisor, educator, and advocate.
Dr. Burnett, founder of Divergent Pathways: A Psychological Corporation, is on a mission to help advance the neurodiversity-affirming paradigm and increase access to this style of therapy and assessment. She is initially seeking to hire licensed clinicians who are located in Massachusetts, or who are interested in relocating. While this is a Boston-based practice, telehealth allows you to be located anywhere in the state. Team-members will be W-2 employees (not contractors!) and receive competitive salaries, benefits (FT), scheduling flexibility, and training by an expert with lived experience in this emerging field. Caseload expectations will prioritize your wellbeing and ability to provide high-quality, attentive services to your clients.
Competitive candidates will want to…
Join the neurodiversity movement by providing truly-affirming, justice-oriented, and cutting-edge care
Experience more balance and independence while still receiving specialized training and support
Learn how to run a practice without the hassles of marketing or overwhelming administrative tasks
Receive a stable salary and benefits while still having flexibility in creating their ideal schedule
Feel valued and empowered in their true, authentic selves (i.e., their most important clinical tool)
Override internalized oppression and experience significant personal and professional growth
Future goals include hiring a psychiatric prescriber, and possibly establishing locations in CA and WA. There may also be training opportunities available for MA-level students or postdocs if/when telehealth supervision is permitted per licensing requirements.
